Illustrative, not a forecast. At 1:1, $EDGE's market cap is the starting value of the claimed XE supply. Raw data: api/prices.

Why XE

Agents and machines need to pay per call, a fraction of a cent at a time. Cards can't, and most chains charge more than that in fees.

How it works

  • Every account runs its own chain, so payments never wait in a shared queue
  • No gas fees. A small proof of work per block keeps spam out
  • Designed to settle in under a second

What's live

  • Public testnet: run a node, send, receive (test.network)
  • Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor connect to XE (in testing)
  • Edge Network has billed enterprise compute customers for 5+ years. Part of that demand moves onto XE

Supply

Token design as of September 2026. Final values publish with the genesis configuration.

At genesis

≤ 40.85M XE

All from claimed $EDGE. No team, VC, advisor or presale tokens. Unclaimed XE is burned after 3 months.

After launch

  • New XE only for paid work, capped at 2% of supply a month
  • 50% of every dollar customers pay buys XE and burns it (40% later). A lower price burns more per dollar
  • Modelled net growth 3–6% a year while usage ramps. At scale the burn overtakes new supply

The claim

Hold $EDGE. Claim XE 1:1 at genesis.

$EDGE sent to the claim contract is burned and XE is issued 1:1. Three months to claim, then the rest is burned. The date, steps and claim address come only through official XE channels. Nobody from XE will message you first or ask for your keys.

Ask your AI

Paste this into Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. It reads the facts file and the live prices, then walks you through it.

Read https://research.dexlaboratory.com/xe/xe.md and the live prices at https://research.dexlaboratory.com/xe/api/prices. Then explain XE and the $EDGE to XE claim to me in plain words: what XE does, how the claim works, how supply is created and burned, who the team is, how $EDGE is valued against its peers, and the main risks. Say which numbers are live and which are design values.
